Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar
Professor at TUM for Information Systems
Prof. Dr. Krcmar is a professor at the Chair of Information Systems at the Technical University of Munich, where he conducts research in the fields of digital transformation, information and knowledge management, platform-based ecosystems, management of IT-based services, e-government and computer-supported collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Jens Förderer
Professor at TUM for Innovation & Digitalization
Jens Förderer and his team conduct research in the domain of information systems, thereby especially focusing on the question how firms can build and manage digital platforms and ecosystems. Method-wise, the focus is to combine econometric methods for causal inference with machine learning classifiers.

Dr. Maximilian Schreieck is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Information Systems at the Department of Informatics, where he conducts research in the fields of digital platforms, platform governance, and digital transformation.
Andreas Hein, M.Sc.
Researcher at TUM Chair for Information Systems
Andreas Hein leads a research cluster at the research group Krcmar, focusing on digital platforms and eGovernment. He draws on qualitative methods to explore how actors in digital platform ecosystems co-create value, how product-oriented firms can transition toward a digital platform ecosystem, and how government can utilize digital platforms.
